Everything about this hotel was amazing. The breakfast was perfect with over the top fresh fruit and pastries to choose from each day. The room was clean, comfortable and had a perfect patio to enjoy the vibes of Monterosso. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone interested in visiting the area.

The two ladies at the front desk and breakfast room were so sweet to our little family and made our stay so memorable! Truly kind and hospitable and welcoming- will definitely stay here again.

Our room has a porch and a view of the ocean, so it was great! But the downside is we had to walk several flights of stairs to get to the room with a view. Overall the hotel staff offered great service for our short stop at Cinque Terre.

This is a beautifully decorated boutique hotel with delightful staff. Everything is newly refurbished. We stayed 5 nights in Cinque Terra in the winter off season. The hotel is on the street level so no pulling your suitcases up the steep hills. Be sure and eat at the La Barcaccia restaurant about a block away. The food is delicious and the chefs and staff are friendly and accommodating.

Our visit got off to a bad start. Our room was not very close to the office area. We were told to park our car at the end of the road, & then carry our luggage up a small street to our room. It was very hot outside, so we left our car there for 10-15 minutes while we dropped off our luggage & changed so that we could go swimming in the downtown area. The hotel does not have any parking, so all guests park in the downtown lot. While unloading our car & changing to go swimming, we were given a $35 parking ticket. We were surprised & disappointed by this, but more shocked by the manager’s response - too bad, we can’t do anything about it. Some suggestions - tell your guests to drive up the small street & park in the apartment’s parking space while unloading; give a temporary sign for your customers to place on their car for the police to see for 15 minutes while they unpack; call the police & let them know what happened in this case & have the violation dismissed - after all tourism is kind of important to this town; lastly, pay the $35 fine. The incompetence of the managers at this hotel was 10/10. Our rating would have been 10/10 if not for the parking incident and the hot weather. Due to the heat (which the hotel cannot control) & the lack of fans in the hotel room (which they can and should!) brings the rating down to 8/10. But the lack of help from any of the managers brings the rating down to where it belongs. Not what one would expect when paying $300/night!

We stayed here for two nights this past weekend. I was really looking forward to enjoying the balcony in the room and didn’t mind the higher price because of the outside space that the was included in the suite. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found the sliding doors were broken so we could not use the patio. Every time we asked about having them fixed we were told a variety of things: someone was on their way to fix it or they couldn’t get the part since it was the weekend. Finally at the near end of our stay when we realized they couldn’t fix it, I was told to speak to the manager, Claudia, when I requested a credit. The next morning she told me that she could not authorize a credit but that she would have the owner contact me. It has now been almost four days since we departed and not a word from the owner. I understand that it was the weekend and acquiring the part was out of their control, but they should have upgraded us to a better room or offered us some type of credit. The room was $250 per night and the highlight was definitely the patio area, which we were not able to enjoy. Other than the room, we found the breakfast to be lovely and everything was very clean.

A lovely stay in Monterosso! Great service from Claudia, very informative and helpful. Despite the wet conditions we enjoyed our stay in Cinque Terre. Would happily recommend this hotel.

Little gem in the new town
We stayed in the suite in the new part of the hotel, the room was big for 5Terre, it was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is located very close to the quieter side of the beach (statue of Gigante), and everything in the town is a short walking distance. Above all, the service was the best, super friendly, great local tips and very warm.

We stayed in a quadruple room. The building was further from the hotel. The receptionist took us there and helped with the luggage, really nice. The staff were incredible, friendly and trying to accommodate with everything. Great location to be based to explore the area, steps away from the station. And steps away from the best beach in the area. Would definitely go back and stay here again. The breakfast was very nice, the room where it was served was very cute. The decorations in the room were really pretty.

This location was perfect as it was away from the busy part of town. Quiet. It was totally walkable from old town and the beach. The staff is outstanding. Breakfast is also outstanding, with so many options including protein. Great shower which is important to me! We would stay again!

Great place. Highly recommend. 2 min walk to beach which was perfect as we went in July so the beachfront was very crowded. One recommendation for the beach which has nothing to do with the hotel: get there early in the morning to reserve your umbrella For the day

We loved our stay here. Our room was in the separate building suites, which had a lovely balcony with a view of the sea. Perfect to enjoy coffee in the morning listening to the beautiful sounds of the birds. Very clean and well managed. Claudia, our host was most accommodating. Highly recommend, I would stay here again.

What an amazing place! It truly felt like someone’s home but with all the comfort of a hotel. It was intimidate and spacious at the same time and then location is perfect. A huge plus is their shower available in case you need one after you check out. It was very handy to keep enjoying Monterosso on my way leaving town.

Quiet location on a deadend street. Boutique style accommodations. A bit tight but pretty standard in an older inn, just enough for us and 2 small suitcases. Awesome breakfast offerings. The curtain swag was broken on the window pully but we propped it up on the window top edge. We always keep our window open for fresh air.

Great location in Monterossa
This is an average type of European hotel and priced accordingly. The room was small and not particularly comfortable. However, the location was excellent, close to the beach and train station. The hotel's affiliated restaurant, Miky, was one of the best we've enjoyed in Italy and also priced accordingly.

Excellent Value and Location in Cinque Terre
The hotel is well located on a quiet street near the beach in Monterosso al Mare. The property is very cute with a nice room for breakfast on site. Our room was located in another building a short walk from the main hotel, where all the ocean view rooms are located. The view did not disappoint. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Monterosso al Mare was the perfect home base to venture out and explore the beautiful coastline and quaint villages that are the Cinque Terre.

Lovely November Stay!
Cute and wonderful place to stay for our Cinque Terre stay. The hostess is lovely and graciously helped with all our questions and in storing out luggage while we hiked, but needed to check out. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

We had a wonderful time here. The location was perfect, just a half block walk to the beach. Claudia was an amazing host. She communicated with us before we arrived and was waiting for us when we got there. She gave great restaurant information and helped us with our departure train scheduling.
