This is an elegant old hotel, well maintained, right across from Parliament House. Which is both good and bad. There were demonstrations all day the first day we arrived, so it was pretty noisy in the afternoon. There are lots of restaurants in the area, and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Have stayed a few times now at the Windsor. Whilst it's a little 'tired' in some areas, we love old world atmosphere an charm it has (as well as a seriously impressive list of past guests!). Staff are always efficient and courteous. Our rooms have been great (particularly the upgrade we scored this time around). Great location opposite Parliament House. Very close to the theatres, multiple dining options and free CBD tram access. Will definitely be back.

Rather dated. Great history. Check in staff not helpful any question was passed to someone else. One gentleman stood out and you could tell he was proud of the history of the Windsor and went out of his way to show me round.
