"I recently stayed for six nights at the
Hostal Ambos Mudos in the Gothic Quarter of beautiful Barcelona. I was initially a bit nervous when I realized that I hadn’t actually booked into a hotel but rather a hostel. "Fantastic location. Room was incredible- spacious, well decorated, comfortable bed, great bathroom with shower and separate tub. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Central location."

"This is an amazing hotel! Great location, excellent rooms, very nice cafe seating outside and fun rooftop bar with amazing view. Staff is excellent and the breakfast was very good. "
"Decent hotel in a good location. Very close to La Rambla.
The hotel itself is nicely decorated, and the staff are very efficient. Our room was quite small, however the bed was huge and it was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely. Cleaning was very good too.
We used the rooftop pool a couple of times, which was great. The bar area was also fab, as were the cocktails.
The hotel is very close to La Boqueria food market which was great for breakfast snacks. I would recommend this hotel. "
"A fantastic location and property. Our balcony opened to the quaint plaza. We walked, taxi'd, and jumped on the Hop on Hop off bus for a great tour of the city. The room amenities were brand new. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff aimed to please. "
"This was a great property. The rooms were like new with plenty of light, the hallways were quiet and the mattress was comfortable. I would recommend paying for breakfast - you can see food being prepared with fresh ingredients right in front of you. I loved the outdoor patio area but never made it up to the pool. I bought some Cokes and the staff kept them for me in a fridge behind the desk since there were no fridges in the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering questions and calling for taxis. I loved the large walk-in shower. Bar Canete nearby is a fantastic place for dinner. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Barcelona."
