The location was the best for Maxwell Food Market, Dragon Tooth Temple and Chinatown. Also very walkable to MTR stations, our major mode of transportation. The little restaurants on site were very inviting and quaint. The lounge was pleasant. We once brought take out food back to eat in the lounge to escape the crowds and heat. The staff excellent, friendly, and helpful. The room was very compact. I had to climb in to get to the inside of the bed. Also I was not aware that the kitchen area was a shared facility with another room but we never used it. I liked the lounge better. The elevator was fun altho intimidating at first as it shrieked when touched.
The Kada concept seems to work. For the price, it was well worth it as Singapore is quite pricey in the accommodation field.
