"As with any airport hotel they don't need your loyalty or repeat business meaning that no thought goes into making rooms a bit more internally sound proof. External sound proofing is pretty good considering how close to the road and the runway the hotel is but internal is awful. The room doors are the noisiest we've come across. They are definitely not soft close, they simply slam. All the interior surfaces are wood too so you can hear everything in the rooms above and to the side. With people moving around at all times of night and day it's difficult to sleep. You're paying for the convenience only. "

"Furama city centre was in a very good location, close by to the MRT (we took the train and it meant only 1 transfer and a lot of sitting, which we appreciated) and in the heart of Chinatown, which meant a lot of shopping and food options as well. There were lots of amenities on site and the staff were very helpful. The AC was also really good in our room! There wasn't much noise coming from outside either. I'd stay here again if I had the chance to visit Singapore again."

"Pros: The room was huge & I had lovely views of the sea. The reception staff were also excellent & helpful. They left me a complimentary gift on my 2nd stay. Thank you💐 Cons: The bathroom was a bit dated & lighting in the bathroom was too dim. No tissues or bottled water were provided so BYO. There’s no public transportation nearby, so you have to take taxis."
