"We had a wonderful time in your charming home. It was just what we needed to spend a few restful days. The apartment was very clean, and conveniently located (closed to Naalehu, shops, bakery, market, farmers market, etcetera). We were able to do several hikes around the multiple state parks in the area, go to beach (Green Sand beach and Black Sand beach, and enjoy malasadas in the town' bakery shop. David and Wendy were very responsive and our stay went smoothly. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"We loved this house and the area. We got to travel around the entire Island and were able to come home to this quiet peaceful oasis. Falling asleep to the waves was incredible. Owner was so helpful and his communication is flawless! We can’t wait to go back! "
"Big Island Yurt Adventure was absolutely amazing!!Johns property has all sorts of local fruits and vegetables as well as a few animals to spend some time with, he even brought us up a pitcher of juice he made from fruits on his property. He had all the creature comforts all the way down to designer samples of cologne in the bathroom cabinets. This place was lacking not one single thing needed. At its elevation It was a cool 68ish in the mornings and just warm enough to remind you you were in Hawaii in the afternoon. And to top it off, One of my daughters left a little purse and a few things there and he had it in the freaking mail before we even made it back home. 10 out of 10And we will be back again"

"This is a beautiful place. Plenty of room for our family. 3rd bedroom does have a separate entrance but, it was fine for our older kids! Beautiful drive to get there and beautiful views. It is a drive from bigger areas but, we travelled most of the island so it was kinda in the middle. Would definitely stay there again"

"Beautiful & peaceful location on the big island away from the busier areas. Our host was very welcoming and always made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of a crackling fire every night. Large house with everything we needed and a very unique private yard setting."
"Enjoyed our evenings at the accommodations and mostly travelled to other places on the Big Island. Explored the neighborhood. The only downfall were the local roosters crowing very earlier in the morning."
