"100/10 my most favorite vrbo stay yet. The garden is gorgeous, such a peaceful and wonderful place to explore. Ka'haiya was so nice and very responsive. The unit was immaculate, very clean with literally everything you could need. Clearly a lot of love and time has been put into making it such a cozy, unique and fun space. I travel alone and it's honestly the safest I've ever felt staying here. The big lounge chair on the lanai was my selling point originally, and it did not disappoint. I loved sitting out there to read, just sit and listen to all the birds or night sounds, and especially enjoyed watching the sunset in the clouds. The location was good for me because it was nice and quiet and not too touristy. Nice drive to go up the west side to get to more touristy things if that's your jam. I would love to stay here again if I come back to the island, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and comfortably place to relax. "

"Great little off-the-beaten path of the Big Island. Loved the quiet, the millions of stars, the fireplaces, and the amazing volcanic rock that seemed abundant everywhere. "Ocean was visible. Bathroom is in separate building. Walls are not animal hide but vinyl! Bring drinking water with you, what is available is rain catch with vinyl particles in."

"Great communication with host. Fun and unique stay in the yurt. Clean, with comfortable queen bed and good amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Quiet environment high on the hill. Shower and two toilets within the yurt. One toilet is an incinerator (for going #2), which took a little getting used to, but was easy to use.Highly recommend for younger couples. "
