"A very well run traditional Kiwi motel. Great location in Waikanae too."

"Stayed in the French colonial room. Well furnished and appointed. Closest to the very clean and maintained spa. Bed was self-concisely squeaky when it mattered, but very suitable for sleeping only."

"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"Thank you for the lovely stay in Wellington. Phil was an excellent host with fantastic communication and responsiveness. Although we would’ve loved a unit with a view the space was suitable for a short stay. "
