The hotel was warm and the AC wasn’t on. Their main reason was it was “cold outside” so the AC was not on. Breakfast was limited with no variety options. Coffee in the room was great. The staff was ok, could have been more friendly. We were a large group and they had deactivated my friends room because they needed something from another room and wanted to contact them. That’s really unacceptable and inconvenient. Not impressed…

Great position in the city. Reception rushed, not very personable. Room utterly disappointing. There is no excuse for mouldy bathrooms in a 4 star hotel . The room was very tired with marks all over the walls, chipped paint on woodwork. For over 250.00 per night I expected more. Would never return.

Disappointing Experience at Soho Boutique Congreso

Disappointing Experience at Soho Boutique Congreso I stayed at the Soho Boutique Congreso in Madrid from October 14-18, 2024, and unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience. Although the hotel advertises air conditioning, the system was set to blow only warm air, making the room unbearably hot. After multiple complaints, the hotel deliberately turned off the warm air, leaving the room with no air circulation at all. I requested a room change to escape the stuffiness, but the hotel refused. Every time I visited the reception, other guests were calling in with the same issue, clearly indicating a widespread problem. The reason the hotel gave for not fixing the air conditioning — that it was cooler outside — did not make sense at all, considering how hot and stuffy the room was inside. As a result, we were unable to sleep for three nights. Opening the window wasn’t an option either, as the street outside was extremely noisy throughout the night and into the early morning, making it impossible to get any rest. To make matters worse, the hotel forgot to book a taxi for our airport transfer, further adding to the inconvenience. I would not recommend this hotel unless they address these ongoing issues and improve their customer service.

O hotel é super confortável. O quarto grande com uma cama enorme. Ficamos no 219. O check in foi ótimo e a pessoa que nos atendeu super gentil. Fez de tudo para tirar as nossas dúvidas e nos ajudar. O hotel fica em uma área central, sendo possível fazer tudo a pé. O café da manhã é bom com frutas, pães, charcutaria, iogurte e suco. Recomendo e me hospedaria novamente.

Localização perfeita e muito segura. Quartos bem grandes, cama king super confotavel assim como travesseiros. Cafe da manhã bom. Unica falha é a reposição fos itens que iam acabando . Por exemplo: roll de chocolate acabou e tinha ja pronta outra travessa e nao colocavam para clientes, assim foi com as frutas também. A maquina de cafe chegava a acabar tudo e so uma funcionava . Como tinhamos que sair as 8 hs por causa do voo, pedimos para deixar alguma coisa mesmo que fosse no quarto e nao fomos atendidos . Sentimos falta de nao ter TV por streming.
