These rooms are really showing their age. Chair was stained. AC wasn’t enough to keep the room from feeling clammy. Not the best value, especially if booking at last minute - we paid $400. Bathroom was clean though.

They have a captive audience, so I didn't expect the best value. Anyone flying internationally out of Madrid knows that it takes forever to get to your gate. With a pregnant wife and a toddler, we were willing to pay extra to be right in the terminal to catch our connection the next day. I didn't expect luxury, but I expected mid-level comfort and quality. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectations. They cut corners that I haven't even experienced in cheaper hotels. The mattress was firm and low-quality. The pillows were flimsy and small. In a country with fantastic food, the breakfast was embarrassing. They served sliced bagged bread, in a country where fresh-baked bread is the norm at any given bar. No fresh fruit or eggs were available, and the hot food was average. The overall vibe was not very focused on customer service or comfort. For the price we paid, which was $407.65 USD, we are unlikely to return unless the alternatives are absolutely untenable.

We were only there overnight to catch an early morning flight, too early for the breakfast. Staff was nice, bed comfortable, nice shower and towels. They also delivered the pillow type of our choice, which was nice. The location was helpful since we needed to depart to the airport before shuttles started running. Cons: Dark bunker room has seen a lot of use. It's truly a convenience choice for crazy flight times, and you pay plenty for the privilege. Since it was around $400 to stay there, it would have been nice to receive a couple of complementary waters and snacks. Everything in the mini bar was charged airport prices. The other con is that because it's located it's outside of security, we were unable to go to some of the better terminal restaurants without a bunch of rigaramole since our flight didn't leave until the next morning. We ended up eating at an overpriced and shipped-in-catering in a Paul's which is a nice chain at say, the Bordeaux train station, somewhere where the staff has some hand in preparation. This was airport meh, and a waste of money. We would have packed something from San Sebastian to eat had we known. Useful-yes. These places exist for a purpose, and I respect that. Will I avoid crazy flights that end up calling for something like this? Yes

All good, however the hotel description should be clearer about the fact that these are windowless rooms. The rooms are priced like a normal airport hotel, whereas in fact this is effectively almost a temporary internal structure without windows.

Room was small and no frills but clean and comfortable. Strong rumble noises felt like a train was going by every so often. Staff was friendly and helpful. Terminal 4 is 20 minutes away from Terminal 1 so unless you're flying in and out of Terminal 4, it's not that convenient.

This property was very difficult to find. T4(terminal 4) you have to take the Free green bus. then when you get there go all the way to back. You can hear everyplace take off. the place its self has no window and very small only PLUS is its in the airport. Would I stay here again NO.

This is the first airport hotel I ever stayed in. It’s located before you go through security in terminal 4. The hotel couldn’t be more convenient if you need a nearby airport for a layover. You could also use the hotel during the day. But book in advance because there are only 20 rooms and they fill up. We landed in Madrid at 8 am on an overnight and had a 4 pm connection and we wanted to sleep at the hotel in the morning but it was booked. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice. The rooms are windowless which is an interesting experience.
