"Loved this place! A great size, well laid out, free parking onsite for guests, convienece store right beneath. Easy access to the highways and tunnels to move around the island. Walking distance to the water. Room is super quiet, dark for sleeping and well setup for cooking. We had a great stay and this made for a good base for our island exploring."

"You won’t regret staying here! One of the best beds I’ve slept while traveling. Full kitchen. Access to washer and dryer. It felt great to get out of Funchal and be somewhere more ‘relaxing.’ With that said, you still have access to restaurants / market, etc. Additionally, there is so much to do in the area. "Stayed here for 6 nights and it was a very cozy place! Pedro and his father Marcello were wonderful hosts and were always around to help. The room was very clean and facilities were adequate, however, the walls in the hostel are rather thin though, so it was noisy at times. Location is good and it's a 10-15 mins walk to the city center. Would stay here again!"
