"Hotel was awesome. It was unfortuate that the young manager. Thought it was appropriate to criticise the staff running the breakfast area in front of customers. She put him in his place with her knowledge and experience. My opinion was that it was extremely well run. Immaculate. As for the manager, he was coached by a Corporate type, who was present just before the manager tried to criticise the staff. Loved the hotel, "

"I’m giving this place 5 stars mainly for the beautiful location and calm atmosphere. The room I got was a bit older and could use a few updates, but everything felt generally clean, no unpleasant smells, just a little dust here and there. What really makes Sands on Golden Lake special is the view, absolutely magnificent in the early morning, and at night the sky is filled with stars and even a glimpse of the Milky Way since it’s tucked away in the quiet countryside. It’s a beautiful spot for anyone who wants to relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature’s beauty."
