About this property

↟ Vista Cabin East | Private Off-Grid Retreat with Wood-Fired Sauna on 200 Acres

  • Escape to your own private corner of the Ottawa Valley, where quiet mornings, towering forests, and star-filled skies replace the noise of everyday life.
Vista Cabin East is a thoughtfully designed off-grid tiny cabin nestled on 200 private acres in Ontario’s Madawaska Valley. Surrounded by mature forest and inspired by our Métis and Polish heritage, this peaceful retreat was created for couples looking to reconnect with nature and each other.
Wake slowly to birdsong, sip coffee on the deck, spend the afternoon exploring private trails, then unwind in your own wood-fired cedar sauna before falling asleep beneath some of Ontario’s darkest skies.
    THE SPACE
Designed for two, Cabin East blends modern comfort with the simplicity of off-grid living.
    Inside you’ll find:
    ● Cozy queen loft bed with premium linens
    ● Kitchenette with cooking essentials
    ● Wood-burning cookstove for warmth and cooking
    ● Solar-powered lighting
    ● Comfortable seating and thoughtfully curated décor inspired by the surrounding landscape
    Outside you’ll enjoy:
    ● Private wood-fired cedar sauna
    ● Seasonal outdoor hot-water shower
    ● Spacious deck overlooking the forest
    ● Fire pit for evening campfires
    ● Miles of private walking trails across our 200-acre property
Every detail has been chosen to encourage you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the beauty of the natural world.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF LUXURY Luxury here isn’t televisions or traffic.
It’s hearing nothing but wind through the pines.
It’s watching deer wander past your cabin.
It’s warming up beside the fire after a sauna.
It’s having 200 acres almost entirely to yourselves.
This is the kind of place where conversations last longer, mornings begin without alarms, and time seems to stretch just a little further.
    LOCATION
Located in the beautiful Madawaska Valley near Round Lake and within easy driving distance of Algonquin Provincial Park, Vista Cabin East offers the perfect balance of privacy and adventure.
Spend your days hiking, paddling, exploring nearby communities, or simply staying exactly where you are.
    GOOD TO KNOW
Vista Cabin East is intentionally off-grid.
The cabin is powered by solar energy and offers many modern comforts while providing an authentic opportunity to disconnect. Cell service is limited depending on your provider, allowing you to truly unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, planning a romantic weekend, or simply needing a break from busy life, Vista Cabin East offers a memorable escape where nature sets the pace.
We look forward to welcoming you to the forest.

This property is unique, with a sona, an outhouse and an outdoor shower with no door. We were more than surprised. The cabin has no power, no fridge, no stove. It has a BBQ with a burner. So it's a off the grid retreat and it should be included in their ad.
