"The cabin was cozy and clean. We had a problem finding the remote to operate the tv and Lisa went right out picked up a new one, came and set it up. The location is fantastic out away from the craziness right on the beautiful river, great place to walk and see nature. But we were only 5-10 minutes away from everything."

"The bad experience began when we pulled in and I tought the place was abandoned. The exterior looked sad and worn down. We wen to the office at 5:30 pm and no one was there, apparently check in between 3:30 and 5 if you'd like to actually talk to someone. We did receive an email explaining the check in procedure but as we were traveling in the State Park were there is little to no service we did not receive anything until we drove away from the motel and into the town where we finally got service and were able to get into our room. Our room did show evidence of recent renevation. However, it was not as advertised. The photos of the rooms shown on the website are taken from an angle that makes them look spacious and workable. We barely had enough space to walk past the foot of the beds without knocking the TV off the wall. The bathroom was not large enough stand at the sink without both shoulders hitting the walls. There was only a single chair in the room and no place to put bags or suitcases to unpack. For some reason there was a full dresser in the room as if someone was staying for a month. In the shower dispensers there was no soap or shampoo, only conditioner. We were unable to use the TV because we did not have the correct code to use them. We paid almost $300 for two nights...we left at 5 in the morning after one restless night on a bed that squeaked everytime one of us moved."

"We had a good time at the Lodge. The weather ended up being warmer than expected, so we got to enjoy hiking and seeing the caverns. The Lodge sits on top of a very steep hill, with a beautiful view. The steep drops made enjoying the property with an active toddler pretty nerve wracking. I thought there would be much more for her to explore on the farm. The hot tub, pots and pans, and the blankets could have used a second cleaning before we arrived. Overall, it was a cozy cabin and lovely long weekend!"

"It was overall a good stay. The property could use a good deep clean-Dust bunnies under the beds, walls were dirty, and 2 of the 3 beds had questionable spots on the sheets which made us concerned if they were actually laundered. The house was cute and perfect for what we were needing. Host was responsive to messages. "
