"We had an amazing 3 day weekend trip to Luray & the cabin was perfect for the two of us. Everything was straightforward- communication with the host before & during the stay was excellent, the check-in process went as planned & we didn't have any problems all weekend. The cabin is absolutely lovely with thoughtful details & charming decor. It's very clean, there is the scent of new lumber in the air & it had plenty of kitchen & bath supplies. We slept very well in the bed & the AC units in the main space & in the bedroom kept the temperature well within comfort range. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen & found everything we needed in terms of dishes, cookware, etc. Since it was just the two of us we didn't use the loft space but we did climb up to check it out & it's a great expansion space for kids or other guests. The cabin is easy to find & is located in a nicely wooded area that felt private & safe even for a solo traveler. No problems with the septic system, which worked exactly the way it should & the alarm didn't go off while we were visiting. We didn't have a chance to sit out on the deck or down at the fire pit but we did check them out when we arrived & they would be perfect for winding down at the end of the day. The cabin is about 10 minutes from Luray Caverns & it took about the same amount of time to get to a local Food Lion & to the part of town that has restaurants & shops. Highly recommend the cabin- we would definitely return here on another trip to Luray!"
Charming cottage at the foot hills of the Shenandoah National Park

"It was the perfect location for our hiking vacation. We are avid hikers and this cottage was within 35 min drive of all of the hikes we had researched in advance that we wanted to do in both the Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest. We also really enjoyed the local wineries.The cottage itself was clean and had a well equipped kitchen and had nice old fashioned charm. If you like historical places you will like this cottage. If you want ultra modern, then this cottage would not be for you. I didn’t realize there was no tv, which wouldn’t have mattered at all except it was opening week of college football when we were there so we had to drive a good ways to find a restaurant/pub with tv’s to watch Ohio State. I don’t think the listing mentions there is a washer and dryer, so we packed assuming there wasn’t any, but were happy to find they did have them. With a lot of hiking it was good to be able to do a bit of laundry. The rural location was quiet and peaceful, which we also really enjoyed."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Shenandoah National Park! The house is very big and spacious—even more than it appears in the pictures. It’s tucked away in the mountains, offering stunning views, especially in the morning. Just be aware that the house is located off a non-paved road, so it’s best to arrive before dark, as the drive can be tricky at night.The location is very close to Luray Caverns, which made day trips super convenient. The play area and hot tub were great additions, especially for families or groups looking to relax and have fun. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay.The only minor drawback is that there’s no trash disposal nearby, so you’ll need to plan accordingly. Overall, an amazing experience—highly recommended for a peaceful mountain getaway!"

"Wow! What an amazing property and cabin. The owner was communicative and her attention to detail made our stay perfect. The cabin was pristine and completely stocked with EVERYTHING and every kitchen item/tool you could possibly need. The wi-fi was lightening fast and the A/C was ice cold. This weekend was perfect and exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. The grounds are peaceful and there’s so much land and peace. We will return again for sure!"

"My husband and I had great time. Overall, this home is great and well-maintained. Most kitchen supplies are in the kitchen. Owner responded very quickly. Check-in process was easy. One thing we did not like so much was the stairs to the 2nd level. In my opinion, this home is good for couples who need recharge or small group of friends for retreat but not for people with disability or family with small kids because stairs to the 2nd level are very steep and somewhat not designed safely."
"Everything was very clean and the views are next to none. The trek up to the cabin was absolutely breath taking also. Privacy was amazing the nature surrounding you, watching fireflies at night was one of the highlights, I haven’t seen them since I was a kid. Definitely will be back. "
