"Wonderful place to disconnect! So peaceful! Loved listening to the babbling brook across the road while sitting on the porch swing. Well stocked with towels, dishes, all kitchen needs, even spices and condiments. Enjoyed an evening fire with fixings from the s’more basket left for guests. Very prompt responses from Daniel. "Wow! What an amazing property and cabin. The owner was communicative and her attention to detail made our stay perfect. The cabin was pristine and completely stocked with EVERYTHING and every kitchen item/tool you could possibly need. The wi-fi was lightening fast and the A/C was ice cold. This weekend was perfect and exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. The grounds are peaceful and there’s so much land and peace. We will return again for sure!"

"This place never disappoints! It’s always clean and ready when we arrive. It has land for us and the dogs to roam, yet minutes from grocery stores and quaint downtown shops/dining. We love the hot tub and fire pit. This was probably the 4th time we’ve stayed here; never had a complaint!"
Family Friendly Farmhouse on FENCED 16 Acres with Trails

"Visited the farmhouse last weekend with my mother, husband, sister-in-law and two dogs. The main purpose of the trip was just to have a little getaway to do something with Mom at a location where our 14 month old Australian Shepherd would have plenty of room to run around. We all had a wonderful time, especially our pup, who played to her heart’s content. Communication with the host was outstanding! And the inside of the house was immaculately clean. While we enjoyed having 16 acres available to us, it is worth noting that the majority of the property is wooded with a lot of tall grass and at the time of year we were traveling ticks were a huge issue. So unfortunately, after pulling a bunch of ticks off of ourselves and our dogs, we really limited ourselves to the front yard, which was more than adequate. Of course the tick situation was no one‘s fault. Nature is nature. It’s just worth noting, and during other months of the year would not be a concern at all. I might even consider returning in the winter to enjoy the fire pits and snowy trails with the dog."
"We had a great time at the Spidey Lodge! Excellent location for visiting Shenandoah National Park being about 15 minutes from the central entrance. We only stayed a couple nights, but could have easily stayed a few more. Host was extremely responsive and showed interest in ensuring we had a good experience. Overall fantastic stay!"
