Such a great plaxe to stay everytime im visiting the beach. Very quiet and very relaxing.

The room mattress was really bad and sturdy, not to mention that the bed frame base was all metal and kept making loud noises. Pretty much all towels had visible stains and there was only 1 in the room (the room was booked for 4 people). Parking area and elevator really need to be renovated. Breakfast was very disappointing.

This hotel is very nice and very accommodating. This is our family’s favorite spot, they have comfortable bedding, and quick little breakfast area in the morning. Overall great place to stay.

Very poor amenities. Not even tissues in the bathroom. No hot water and such poor water pressure I couldn’t shower at all. Looked like mold on the shower floor as well. I don’t recommend.

Check in with receptionist was excellent. Sadly that’s where the quality ended. Bathroom was not cleaned well, beds were terrible, base was metal and sounded like you were sleeping on a tin can each time you moved. We didn’t use it but the pool was filthy. Breakfast ran out of fruit. Location good to walk to downtown Manhattan Beach.

I enjoyed my stay. The only problem I had was breakfast. No eggs or protein? If you don’t eat early, no fruit for you. Breakfast, was the only downfall and that alone is a 1.

Our stay at the Wave was just one night, and we didn't make it to the beach as we had intended. We had the family suite, which is basically two rooms with a door in between. This was a great space for our family of 4 to spread out and we appreciated the 2nd washroom! The rooms were clean and updated. The free continental breakfast was a nice bonus - waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, and fruit. The only minor drawbacks were that you could hear people outside the room as they walked to their rooms, rolled their luggage and had conversations on the way, as well as the metal bedframes that made a loud noise if you accidentally kicked them. Not dealbreakers for us though. Overall, a good value for the money we paid.

The room was very cute and spacious, had a great set up. However you can hear everything that happens outside the door, like people walking by and the sweeping happening throughout the day. The area around the hotel has a lot to offer. Target, Dunkin Donuts and Olive Garden to name a few. Very short walk to the pier and I would stay here again.

The pool needed a good clean. The rooms were nice but there were black worms coming out of the shower drain. Even after getting someone to come clean the shower the worms still came back. The toilet was constantly running which was annoying. I would still stay here again based on the location

My only real complaint is my the floor in the room wasn’t as clean as it looked. My feet we black from walking around in there. Everything else seemed to be clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast was good

Spa suite with balcony was beautiful. Could hear a little noise. Bed was comfy. Staff was helpful and friendly. Close to LAX. Parking was rough, especially because guests double parked making the small parking even smaller. Free breakfast had a very small selection but there’s a Starbucks right across the street.

Well first of all they lied about the breakfast 🙄 they include 2xs . The beds are horrible like sleeping on concrete slab. Black mold in the bathroom

The property is beautiful and well kept. Our room was spacious, clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was delicious and various options were available like cold cereal, muffins, danishes, toast, bagels, waffles, and juices. I will definitely return soon!

Location was great and bus stops close, if you don’t have a car or don’t want to drive in the crazy city. The only downside for me was the beds were uncomfortable and hard like the floor, also housekeepers went inside my room everyday, just to change a small bag of garbage, but never did our beds or take care of anything else besides that small trash can and breakfast was always busy and empty, if you didn’t get there before 7:30.

Staff and room were great, free parking was very convenient. When booking it looked from the pics there was a hot tub, turned out there wasn’t which was our only concern.
