So clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent! The bed was very comfortable and put me to sleep instantly. Very quieta d very close proximity to everything I needed like universal studios, great food choices and variety. There is parking in the front and back of the hotel. I was 5 minutes from universal studios and 10 minutes from the Hollywood stars and although I am a California native I still enjoy tourist attractions. Kamal was amazing and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay near universal studios that has everything nearby.

An amazing smaller hotel. Location was great for Universal park and the restaurant next door was amazing. Coffee machine and filtered water in the lobby was a great touch. Staff were very friendly

My husband and I stayed here a couple of night as we were visiting Universal Studios. It was great, the staff is nice and the room was clean. The Mexican restaurant next door is a must try!

I would describe this property as a boutique motel that is cozy, convenient and clean. Notably, it offers free parking (which is a plus for Burbank) along with a continental breakfast during your stay. If your interest is intimacy, individuality and walk ability, I would recommend this property.

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Despite this establishment being an old motel that has been renovated; the water pressure was excellent; the air conditioning worked extremely well; the rooms are clean and quiet; the beds are very comfortable (I have an extremely bad neck and back); I love that there is no carpet in the rooms; the location is within 15 minutes of most entertainment and waking distance to extremely tasty coffee shops and eateries. I will definitely be returning.

The staff were absolutely wonderful but the property itself is a poorly revamped motel 6. Our rooms smelled like urine. For almost $300 per night I accepted something a little nicer.

Really lovely motel style with lovely, helpful staff. Free breakfast is delicious pastries which are regularly replenished. Vibrant area with lots of great dining options nearby. Feels safe and parking availability is good

We would stay here again. The staff really is wonderful without exception. The rooms are comfortable and I slept as well here as any hotel I can remember. The coffee machine in the lobby makes really good coffee. The morning pastries are a nice touch, though I wouldn't count on that for breakfast. Good neighborhood restaurants as well.

Loved this hotel! If you’re looking to go to universal studios, stay at this hotel. About a 10 minute drive and the parking at this place was easy to find and access. The pool was being worked on during our stay but it didn’t affect our stay in any negative way.

The Tangerine was in a great neighborhood. Walkable to great dining options and close to all LA has to offer. The staff was so friendly and our room was incredibly clean!

Great look, great location for both the immediate area and travel to other parts of the city. Room was clean and comfy, if a little cramped (spacious for LA area though!) overall. Staff was friendly & helpful, check in and check out are quick. Rooms are quiet, but some signs of aging on some wood fixtures were noted, and some of the furniture needs updating.

This is an up and coming hot property. They are redoing the pool, the rooms have all been redone, and it has a great vibe. We stayed one night, wish it could have been more. The host was fantastic, offered great suggestions, and is obviously working hard to improve this place. It is clean, rooms are well decorated, the TV, lighting, coffee maker, refrigerator, and bath are clean, nearly new, and nicely done. Even the room heater is quiet. There is coffee available in the office 24/7, as well as in the room. They provide a wonderful roll selection for breakfast. The only reason I dinged the property conditions down to Good is because they are redoing the pool. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay.

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay at The Tangerine - A Burbank Hotel. Staff very helpfull and nice. We were visiting Warner Bros. Studios and got there in about 10 minutes walk. Sad it was just for 1 night!

Perfectly suitable for a short stay
The check-in was seamless. The staff/owner at the front desk was exceptionally adept and polite. The room was clean. It's still a motel, of course, but it was comfortably and situated in a great location. There is plenty of food to be found nearby (a lot of pizza places, for some reason, a Mexican restaurant, coffee shop, Chipotle, etc). Free coffee, tea, and water were offered int he lobby. The pool was being renovated, but we stayed on a rainy day in the winter anyway. The drive to Universal was quick, so I certainly recommend this site if the Park is why you're in town.
