"Not enough lifts for hotel capacity Check in not very efficient. Have stayed at this hotel several times but this has now changed names and been rebranded and taken over by a different company. Intent checking desk to be told to go to self check in. I had to ask for help which the staff did help but wasn’t very clear No yes or coffeee facilities on the room Check out has changed and is now 10am. Can stay longer but have to pay extortionate amounts. Seems tk be taking the easy let style low budget packages except this hotel isn’t low budget! On checkout the staff were not helpful"

"I try to stay at the Montague whenever I'm in London and no matter how long it is between visits I'm greeted and treated like a valued guest. The staff is helpful and always at the ready. There's an understated luxury about the Carnation hotels and a sense of welcomeness that makes it feel like home away from home. And the location is wonderful."

"A less than five star for this stay as I had a silly runaround to get a receipt for my stay and the wrong card was charged. When you book ‘pay at property’, beware because what this actually means is that they charge the card used to guarantee the room automatically, on the day of arrival, so you do not have the opportunity to pay at the property with a different card if you chose to do so, nor to arrange an emailed invoice. Should be a much simpler process and less hassle for guests. It’s slightly putting me off staying again, to be honest."
