It was a good place for single older woman. Good to have kitchen for cheap eating and meeting. Signs reminding people to be quiet on walls o dorm areas would be good

I just stayed for one night, with my grandson, pre Christmas London break. Great location, 5 mins walk from Earl’s Court station. Friendly , helpful staff, clean hostel, with comfy dining area. I do think youth hosteling is becoming quite expensive, £90 for a room with bunk beds and a basin is a bit steep, when a travelogue type would be so more comfy, but I’ve been hosteling for 45 years and trying to visit all the English ones, so we have another one ticked off and a stamp in the book!!!

5 minute walk from Tube station, we shared bunk beds in our own small private room with shared toilet and shower downstairs. Friendly staff. Great for a short one stay stay in London

You may like it or don’t
When assigning rooms for people if it is possible to consider the age of customer not to put people of aged at the top floor without the convenience of an elevator. Its a stuggle to go up the stairs of 4-5 levels. I know its beyond your control but its a gamble if you have companion in the room that acts like he owns the whole room and snores through out the night.

Great property. Cleaned daily. Perfect spot for transit on the Piccadilly line. Booked a 4 bed (6 person) private room for me and 3 other people. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. A true steal.

A nice quiet base for being in London. I really like this area and would use the hostel again, although at £140 for one night (own room) it is expensive.

Bedding and toilet are clean, but area under the beds hasn’t well cleaned, there are some trash. Locks in some bathrooms and toilets are not work properly. After locking, they are hard to open, need help to open outside.

Great for the price. We really appreciated that the bathrooms were individual and not communal dorm-style (each bathroom has a one person shower/sink/toilet) and they were not overcrowded during our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a quiet and clean night here. The neighborhood is beautiful, upscale, and nice to walk in.

Overall a positive experience. Pros: Good value and convenient. Cons: no wifi in the rooms; shower stalls a bit cramped.

Clean and comfortable
The hostel is clean, comfortable and on a pleasant street. The staff were helpful and friendly. I really have nothing bad to say about the place. Will definitely return if I need to stay in London again.

Great value
It is convenient located close to an underground station, restaurants and cafes. The hostel is clean and the staff is friendly. The heating system really works and internet is available just in the communal areas. The only bad thing was the pillow, which is super thin. When I booked it in, it did not say the room had a shared bathroom, but that did not ruin the experience.

A shame people are not respectful
I wish people were more respectful of other sleeping. One night a big group arrived around midnight. Imagine the noice of 10 people talking and laughing. Doors violently closing showers and shoutings af if no else was here. A shame really.

School groups are a big part of what we do at the Youth Hostel Association, though respect for other's sleep should also be considered and groups are warned on arrival to keep noise levels down after 10pm. Should you stay with us again our 24 hour staff are always on call should you have problems. We have had a meeting with all staff to be extra vigilant regarding noise issues. We're sorry again for the inconvenience.

Could be a perfect place
The place is nice. The staff is friendly. The only thing is some people have forgotten that some of us are there to SLEEP. There is always lot of noice and the staff never reminds people that is should be a calm place. They accept big groups. Last time I think their were playing a giant Hide and Seek at midnight in the house. "Youth" could also mean Respect sometimes..

Super cute and convenient! About a two blocks from tube station. nice pubs around! But, great food/drink options inside YHA (pleasant surprise)...walk in an immediately get hit with the awesome smell of pizza!! Staff is very friendly (even helping bring luggage up the stairs!) :-) Clean, charming. Will definitely visit again! Only one heads up - if using rolling bag from Earls Court, sidewalk is rough; may want to just Uber it the block and a half to YHA -- that's for us older folks ;-)
