This was a perfect choice for our stay - all of the staff were welcoming and friendly, it's a great location and our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. Loved it.

Room was nice but was not the same room as shown in the photos for booking. Mattress was horrible and very uncomfortable. Only one of the elevators was working during our stay which was not ideal since guests and housekeeping staff were using the only elevator. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Great area, convenient to restaurants, shops, and walkable to many of the big attractions. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom door was a barn style door which proved to be extremely difficult to open and close. Really the only drawback.

I had a lovely stay at the Victory House Hotel. The rooms are very clean and stylishly decorated. The bed is also super comfy, I had an amazing night"s sleep.

Weekend stay with my daughter

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend as we had pre-booked theatre tickets for Friday and Sunday and thought it would be great to spend some quality time in London. The check in was different as there was no reception just a machine, it was very easy to do yourself and get the number of key cards required. The staff were very helpful behind the bar if anything was running low in the room and housekeeping we didn't even notice they just came in and serviced the room whilst we were out. The location is so fantastic between China Town and Leicester Square everything is so accessible by walking, tube or bus. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a great location in central London. But unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations in any way. The elevator was extremely slow and there was only one that worked. We had booked a suite and expected a nice room. The toilet smelled. The room had a stuffy smell and it was not possible to ventilate it. The room seemed worn out. And the extra square meters were not usable due to sloping walls. The breakfast was boring and the coffee tasted strange. We did not feel that we had booked a 4 star hotel and do not think it was worth the money.
