This is just a small hotel but the staff were really friendly and it felt as though they had a lot of pride in the hotel. It was clean, with a good shower and toilet. Good value for the money spent and would recommend if you are travelling on a budget. Also close to Paddington station and a short walk to Hyde Park

We really enjoyed our stay at Nayland, a clean hotel with friendly staff. Our only negative was that our room was in the basement and we were woken at 6 am by the cleaning staff and then we could hear all the goings on in the breakfast room. If we stay again, we will definitely ask to be on a higher floor. Very close to Paddington station, convenient for tubes buses and getting around.

I am a solo business traveller and I stay in London for a few days a month. My room was spotless and the room excellent value for money given I wanted to be near a tube and have somewhere to get into central London quickly. I would stay here again.

It’s fine.

It was fine - I wasn’t expecting blankets and bedspreads but rather hoping for nice white duvets. It was clean and tidy and the room was cleaned for our return each day, clean towels, beds made etc. could look smarted with decor and carpet, but it was all fine really. Shame we have to get our cups of tea downstairs and bring to the room, that was odd and I wondered if it’s ok health and safety wise…boiling water. But it was fine, honestly. A good base. Comfy beds.

Great for exploring London

Couple <30 years old travelling to London for a couple of days. The hotel was great as it offered parking (although limited), which I called ahead to confirm the availability of. It was very well priced for being so close to the city centre and everywhere in London was easily accessible. The room was basic and small but that was no issue for us as we were out all day. Good hot water supply even in peak times such as morning. We did not have the breakfast as we did not think the selection was enough for us and we preferred to go elsewhere. We would absolutely stay again.

Good hotel to stay

We stayed for five nights and every day the room was cleaned and tidy and I was very happy with it, breakfast was good and all in all everything was good! Only one night we were woken up in the middle of the night because someone was chatting in the bar and it was very loud because the room wasn't soundproofed very well！The location of the hostel is very convenient, it is very close to paddington station, you can walk to it in five minutes, and it is also close to Hyde park, you can walk to it in ten minutes! If I go to London in the future I will stay there again!
