We chose to stay here due to its proximity to R.A.H. The check-in was easy and the receptionist friendly. Not overally welcoming but friendly. Room was very basic and dated. Windows dont open properly. Bed was large enough but matraces were cheap and old. Pillows hard rock and very uncomfortable. We had evening drinks at the bar and they were good quality and reasonably priced. Having had a discount for our stay, the price was just short of reasonable for the room but paying the full price would have left us very dissapointed. Will consider for future stays if visting RAH.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The hotel is beautiful, recently renovated, extremely clean and the rooms were a great size. I stayed in a triple deluxe and it was perfect for 3 friends to stay. The hotel is beautiful and charming and in the most amazing location, just south of Kensington gardens. Extremely walkable to explore local sites and main tourist sites.

Lovely hotel. Recently refreshed room, all felt to a good standard and very clean. It was a little hot (couldn’t seem to get the ac working) and a noise carried a bit from the other rooms. But overall a lovely stay.

This was a lovely property. It was walkable to lovely tourist areas. It had quite a British feel, and the staff service was superb. My small quibble was there were no hanging structures for garments in my room. While I appreciate I booked a small room. I find it difficult to understand how there could be nothing to hang not even a jacket. I would remove the desk and add a small bureau for hanging items.

Very convenient for us as we went to see a show at Royal Albert Hall. Very nice area. The hotel is clean and the staff helpful and polite. The down side was car parking. We would normally of trained to the are area but my partner had not long had a knee joint replacement so we drove down, obviously I had to park some distance away from the hotel, although I was able to drop my partner off at the hotel. The car park I used was safe but 10 to 15 minutes walk away and it cost £50 to park overnight. I realise it’s London but would help to have some sort of deal with use to a car park. We got the room at a really good price so I’m grateful for that. We both enjoyed our stay and would stay there again as well as recommend to anyone. Really nice staff.

Really pleasant stay!
Very welcoming from start to finish, the room was very clean and had a fresh feel to it. Plenty of tea and coffee options and breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice from fruit, yoghurt, pastries to a host breakfast meal. Only thing missing was pancakes or waffles!

Perfect location in South Kensington
Stunning hotel in South Kensington , located in a reasonable walking distance to all attractions! You are around the corner from the museums and the Albert Hall. We had a room on the top floor. No noise and the room was a decent size with everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom had extra toiletries like vanity set, shoe polisher as well as the usual shower gels etc. Nespresso machine for tea / coffee and there is a minibar albeit we didn’t use that facility . The only negative is there was no info pack in the room with prices / local attractions/ room service etc

Great hotel, and perfect location
We really enjoyed the queens gate hotel, especially as we were upgraded to a huge room with a fabulous bathroom! Hotel had a small, well stocked bar, and the food was very good, we ate one evening there but were the only ones in the restaurant.The weekend buffet breakfast was exceptional, and then during the week you can choose anything you want, nice to have an eggs benedict! Bed was comfortable, lovely White company toiletries, and very quiet, so good sleep. Great location for the Albert hall and close enough to Gloucester street tube to get anywhere including Heathrow in an hour.

When I checked in they gave me the worse room ever next to the AC machines on the roof till I complained and they changed it the next day The Arab suddenly stopped working and they couldn’t find out the issue Also the sign was don’t disturb yet the cleaner kept knocking then entered the room Also the cleaner took my room card and didn’t return it till I reported it I asked for late check out and they refused even I was willing to the pay the fees Jerry and Stephanie were nice and friendly and that start was for them

We had two rooms and both were very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful! We will stay here again. Recommend this hotel for families and couples! Breakfast was fantastic!!

Had a good stay at this property. My partner and I were visiting a show at the royal Albert hall and the location was great for this. The room was newly renovated and very nice and clean. We also received a free room upgrade which was very appreciated. The only issue was on arrival. I struggled to understand the person on the front desk (I am English so should not be an issue in an English hotel). Then, the battery had died on the door card reader so we had to stand in the narrow hallway for 15 minutes whilst they looked for someone to fix it. Perhaps offering us to wait in the bar would have been a better option. I would have rated 4.5 stars if this were an option as the hotel itself was great, just could have done without the little hiccups on check in after a long day of travelling.

Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing renovations and even at 11.30 at night there was obviously work going on overhead of our room! Sounded like carpet laying? Guests should be warned about possible noise. Good hotel though, brilliantly located for our needs.

We love the fact that there are 3 single beds quite rare to find in a hotel. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact I had to let them take £50 off my credit card incase we had any extras? You should be charged at end not up front as I certainly would not have used £50 in extras!

A really good, decent hote
A really good, decent hotel. Couldn’t fault anything. Decent sized room (especially considering the area. Good service, great food (and beer!). Amazing breakfast too. You won’t go wrong booking for this hotel

No mirrors in the bedroom area
A very comfortable and spacious triple bedroom. My only criticism of the room is that there were no mirrors, apart from in the bathroom. I have verbally made this comment to the hotel reception staff.

Couldn’t have asked for better.
Being a manager in a five star hotel I spend everyday looking for area which need improving, in my stay at the Queens gate hotel I found everything done well, the staff were pleasant and helpful the service was good the cleanliness was very good. At no point was there any dissatisfaction with the hotel’s service. A wonderful stay and I would and will recommend others to use this hotel when travelling to London.

Beautiful location and hotel. Staff very helpful. Unfortunately there was building work that was about the fourth floor whichbwoje is up and limited the peace and quiet. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. Otherwise a great stay and would stay again.
