Lording It Up

Excellent allround. The staf are genuine and helpful ...going the extra mile. While there are kitchen facilities i am not sure if breakfast is available. There is a coffee/ hot choco machine however. There are fridges in the kitchen which guests are free to use.

Probably unbeatable value.

You must do something about that shower head. Limescale blocking shower heads, and killing off washing machines, is part of life for most British people. If nothing else, a manager might once per month unscrew each shower head, poke each hole with a pin and re-assemble. Double room in the sense that one could just about walk past the double bed, but there was also a desk and a nice chair, albeit the room was not sufficiently wide for the chair to fit alongside the bed (helpful for my CPAP machine). Nice fitted carpet. Good en-suite toilet, wash and shower room. Cleanliness: excellent. Television and WiFi worked well. At about £27 per night, just inside the Central Zone and in a posher part of London, probably unbeatable value. Co-op mini-supermarket round the corner very friendly.

Lord Jim è chiuso, ma nessuno ci ha avvertito, quando siamo arrivati davanti all'albergo abbiamo trovato un cartello dove c'era scritto di rivolgersi all'albergo accanto, il Best Western. Qui, non avendo una camera familiare, come avevamo richiesto, ci hanno dato una stanza da tre e una da uno al seminterrato, senza aria condizionata e con una finestrella che affacciava su una specie di chiostrina angusta e senza aria. L'aria condizionata era rotta, così abbiamo chiesto che ci cambiassero le stanze. La signora alla reception ci ha detto che non avevano altre camere disponibili. Solo nel pomeriggio, quando alla reception è arrivata una ragazza italiana molto gentile e disponibile, ci hanno dato due stanze matrimoniali. L'albergo, pur essendo un 4 stelle, nel periodo del coronavirus non ripristina le stanze e non cambia gli asciugamani.

Excellent value and conveniently located

This hotel is excellent value in my opinion and has a friendly and helpful receptionist and i was very happy with the room i stayed in for 2 nights and it was ideal for me as it's just a few minutes wall form Earls Court tube. And the common areas and my room in the hotel were very clean and my only disappointment was that i was unable to get the wifi to work on my laptop and also the shower head was a bit blocked with limescale so it wasn't a very powerful shower but overall i was very satisfied for my short stay there.

Ok für einen kurzen Aufenthalt

Die Zimmer im Hotel sind nicht klein, sondern sehr klein. Vor allem im Badezimmer hat man kaum genug Platz um sich zu drehen. Daher würde ich auf keinen Fall als Paar in dieses Hotel gehen (mein Bett war z. B. nur auf einer Seite zugänglich). Die Sauberkeit des Hotels könnte auch besser sein. Sehr geschätzt habe ich die Lage des Hotels gleich hinter der Earls Court Station und trotzdem in einer ruhigen Strasse. Daher kann ich es für kurze Auftenhalte durchaus empfehlen. Frühstück habe ich jeweils ausserhalb des Hotels eingenommen. Es hat einige Orte in unmittelbarer Nähe, wo man ein gutes Frühstück bekommt.

l'hotel est bien situé près du metro et des commerces,Par contre la literie est à revoir les matelas sont vieux et vous explose le dos (4 jours de torture). Ensuite j'avais reservé par mail avant mon arrivée les petits dejeuners , mais quand je suis arrivé à l'hotel le soir même j'ai precisé au receptionniste que je ne les voulais plus et que j'en testerais peut etre un dans la semaine ,il m'a dit que c'etait d'accord, du coup je n'ai pris qu'un seul petit dejeuner et le jour du check out on ma demandé de payer l'integralité des 5 jours (soit environ 93euros).J'ai pourtant expliqué à la personne que je n'avais dejeuner qu'une seule fois mais ils n'ont rien voulu savoir! Aucun geste commercial, j'ai du payer 93euros sans quoi je ne pouvais pas quitter l'hotel, ils ont eu de la chance que mon avion décollait bientot sinon j'aurais campé la bas!!! je trouve ça inadmissible! , en 3 voyages à londres c'est la 1ere fois que je vis une chose pareille , donc de par ce fait je ne recommande en aucun cas cet etablissement, de plus je pense que les commentaires (trip advisor , google etc) ils s'en contrefichent car les gens se plaignent de letat de la literie rien n'a bougé!.

Great budget hotel

Overall really good stay. Room and linen was clean but dated, happy to compromise for the price. There was a lift which a lot of these old buildings often don't have. The location was very close to Earls Court station as well as food and shopping.

Не однозначное впечатление от отеля

От отеля неоднозначное впечатление. По порядку: в двух минутах от метро Earls court (в 40 минутах от аэропорта Хитроу по прямой ветке). До центра Лондона минут 20-30. В отеле довольно крутая лестница и если у вас тяжёлые чемоданы, то может быть сложно поднимать их наверх, тк лифта нет, но можно попросить оставить чемоданы на рецепции, если вы останавливаетесь на 1 ночь. В номере вполне прилично, учитывая, что это очень недорогой отель и расположен в хорошем месте. Матрас кровати жестковат и мне было не очень комфортно. Ещё не могу не написать, что ночью мешал спать постоянный ноющий гул. Как выяснилось позже, это вытяжка. Не сказать, чтобы очень громкий, но если у вас в целом чуткий сон, то может мешать прилично. Возможно, беруши помогут. Персонал очень приветливый и располагающий.

The property was extremely cheap and I had a tiny room in the hotel, so my review does not necessarily hold for other rooms. The room was adequate and just about in-keeping with the very low price I paid. The staff were lovely.
