The property was located centrally, just a 5 minute walk from Hyde Park & around 6 minutes from the nearest tube station.
It was an old Victorian building on a quiet street.
We stayed in a ground floor triple bedroom which was a great size, plenty of room for the 3 of us, with a double & single bed, a sofa, chair and table and a generous size bathroom. Much bigger than you’d find at a Premier Inn or Travelodge.
The room was clean & felt secure. The only downsize was how hot it was. I’ve read the reviews and knew this beforehand, but thought with it being October, it wouldn’t after us, but it did. However there was a ceiling fan and a good freestanding fan in the room, which we used.
We had a drink at the bar in reception when we got back from our night out. The hotel staff that served us was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t ace breakfast there, so can’t comment on that.
I would definitely be happy staying here again, next time we come to london.
