Friendly staff

Staff was very friendly and allowed late check out. My room was upgraded so I could get a shower upon arrival. Great price! And great location.

A tired hotel in need of urgent renovation. Three was a strong unpleasant smell of weed. At the end of the day it provided a bed for the night in the middle of London

Very very average - bathroom v v dirty . Banged on my door at 0950 check out want until 1000- did they think I was a weirdo that never travelled before . Rude rude rude to bang on any door before check out !!! Who do they think they are - not much customer service in that - am sure booking .com will hardly post this review as it’s not that good - don’t Beleive many of their reviews as they mostly fake !!

Do not stay here!

This hotel is utterly disgusting. My room was in the basement; no windows, stinking of mould and filthy with dust and hair all over the floor. There’s no tea and coffee facilities or even a plastic cup in the room. The shared bathroom was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. I’m used to staying in cheap hotels but this one was truly dreadful, avoid! The rooms are not remotely like the pictures, do not be fooled!

An absolute dump

This place is struggling. From the vacancies available pasted on the windows to the dirty furnishings and walls, fly blown lampshades, lack of a matress protector, absence of sink plugs, blown lightbulbs, rotten and un-shuttable window sashes, torn fire instructions, non-locking door. I could go on. Let's face it - it's a flp-house charging £70 / night. On the plus side - the shower was hot but the controller faulty so I narrowly escaped a severe burn. Life is too precious to take a chance on this establishment.

This hotel was very disappointing. I wish I did more research before booking, as there were many places within walking distance in way better conditions for the same price if not less. I would know because I had to leave this place and book another one. After barely making it two nights here I could not stand staying another minute. The room was the size of a closet, there was mold all over the bathroom, the bed was barely a sheet cloth over metal spring surface. I lost money as they wouldn’t refund me the nights I had left, but I didn’t care. I had to get out of there. DO NOT STAY HERE. There are far better options in the area for the same price.

The location is perfect and with the price we paid we knew we our expectations had to be realistic. However the building is requiring a revamp and the smell of mould was troublesome in the bathroom. The staff were helpful in creating a solution. I was surprised to see no matress protecter on the bed and only a small duvet on a double bed but the room was hot so it wasnt required anyway. There is no lift so be aware of needing to walk flights of stairs if you have heavy luggage. The tread is very narrow as is normal in london so perhaps the plastic covering over the carpet on the staircase might be to provide grip and prevent injury. This place could be amazing due to its top location if a refurbishment was done, it is worrying to see damaged ceilings and walls and significant sloping floors.

Avoid at all costs

Aviod this hotel at all costs. May be low cost for London £115 but its not worth the money Mould in the shower Bare MDF on the floor where the wood finsh has come off. Rotten wood on door frames Leaking toilet, leaking on to the bathroom floor, hense the smell of urine No windows (in my basement room) No A/C No Fan Squicking metal bed frames Poor Mattress
