Over all it’s not a bad hotel. The staff are all very nice and polite and the breakfast is great, However I did experience a few problems- The cold water was coming out hot and the shower did not heat up adequately for a proper shower. The room had had laminate flooring put down so every time you lent up the headboard the bed slipped across the floor. Due to the flooring their was a lot of noise from all the rooms around you so not much sleep, The rooms are very tired and in need of a make over, the bathroom was way too small. I think quantity of rooms has out wade comfort I would have paid more for a bigger room. Also one night I I scratched my leg causing it to bleed (NOT THE HOTELS FAULT) but mine, this led to blood been on the duvet, the room was cleaned the next day but the clearly blood stained duvet cover was not replaced, a bit disappointing.

Solo traveler here to give honest review! Pros: great location (tube: 5 mins to Lancaster Gate, 10 to Paddington - connects to Heathrow Express), lots of restaurant options, great breakfast buffet daily, nice lobby/bar area, willing to upgrade and check in early if available (sign up for BW rewards beforehand!). Cons: the construction going on next door starts at 8am, sound travels in this building so bring earplugs and download a good sound app if you plan to sleep in. No outlet in bathroom, housekeeping sometimes replaced your washcloths and toilet paper and sometimes didn't. A/C controlled by front desk. If you want it to circulate fan air, ask them to turn it on.

Fantastic location to Hyde Park and 2 tube stations (Lancaster Gate and Paddington). Close to restaurants and a good coffee shop right inside the gate of Hyde Park. We enjoyed that the area was peaceful to come back to after long days of sightseeing. Front desk staff was hit or miss, some being exceptionally helpful and nice, while others were not. Housekeeping staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in an executive suite. Though not large it was sufficient for the three of us. My only complaint would be the ac was not efficient at all. Fortunately, we were gone in the daytime when it was at its hottest. We were able to open the only window to cool things off at night. Overall, a good stay and would definitely recommend the area.

The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. The hotel was in great location near Hyde Park, which made seeing nearby sights simple to walk to. The breakfast option is highly recommended, as it was a great way to start the day.

The metro is nearby, their breakfast is fabulous (smoked salmon, cheese, croissants, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice and more), staff is friendly. Our room was clean and quiet.

We booked for a two twin bed but at check-in we were told this type of room was sold out so we're "upgraded" to a family room but it was actually a downgrade to us because they gave us a room (double plus sofa bed) in the basement, which not accessible by the elevator, the room was freezing (the thermostat was broken), not to mention there was construction right by the window and it was really noisy early in the morning. We raised our concern with front desk and they promised to arrange for the same room type that we originally booked for, which they did on our 2nd night. Overall, I think the staff were friendly and helpful, just the facility is quite dated and needs some serious upgrade.

Loved the lobby, nice area to wait for family to meet us. Friendly staff, comfortable room. The only information we would like to pass on to the staff is about the taxi they reserved for us. When we got in the taxi, the driver demanded a cash payment. We were shocked since it was 125 BP. Luckily we were able to find enough cash amongst the 4 of us. He wanted to take us to an ATM but we really didn’t want to do that. This has nothing to do with your staff but we want them to be aware of this practice.

Lovely quirky hotel across from beautiful Hyde Park. Weird issue with water being too hot. Room too warm and AC didnt work for first day or two. Lift also broken first 2 days but then fixed. Staff responses were not impressive. Excellent location but would try a different place in furure. Staff were not well trained to help get medical help when I had an injury

Great location and very comfortable.
Really happy with location of hotel. Public areas were stylish and room was comfortable, fresh with good storage. Shower was good. There wasn’t a socket near the kettle tray so we had to put this on the luggage rack. Also the cold water tended to run warm. But these were very minor points. Staff helpful and we were able to store our luggage pre and post check in. Would definitely stay here again.
