"The property looks beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The details are, however, very lacking. The window in my room was drafty and upon inspection there were stains on the curtains. The shower had basically no edge to it and the curtain was short enough that the floor flooded when we showered. The bed was also not comfortable- especially the pillows which had zero support. It's a good location but I definitely won't be staying here again."

"Rude staff (especially at night). Whoever was there for checkout was also rude. Broken shower curtain pole and shower didn’t drain. Vending machines for drinks don’t work (everything is sold out) on every floor. Pillows are uncomfortable. Poor noise insulation. Also, the entrance to the hotel had homeless people and others who made it feel unsafe, especially at night."

"The hotel had no electricity upon arrival, inexplicably as there were no severe weather conditions. I was handed two glow sticks to be able to guide my way around the hotel and my room. You can’t make this stuff up. The fact that there was nothing provided to compensate for the matter (discount, credit, voucher, etc) is ridiculous. Apparently being the only on site hotel option allows for the hotel to not care about its guests and still retain business. I won’t be back. "

"Clean room, very accommodating after a couple of hiccups with check in. Light needed replacing bathroom. After requesting, no follow-up for light replacement after promised"

"Good room lower floor was a little close to the street and a little loud but it’s Chicago so to be expected. Breakfast was good and the room was clean."

"Beautiful property, great resturant on site, an the pool and spa was amazing."
