"What an incredible place. My friends & family & I are so thankful we ended up here after having to leave our previous hotel. I can’t say enough good things - the rooms are great, the pools are great, and the food is great. The breakfast buffet has thousands of options, and the dinner menu is great. The rooms aren’t anything crazy, but they are clean, spacious, and have a nice balcony. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. "Dirty and bad condition. Worst place to stay and overpriced for this type of condition. Not worth paying. There seem to be no upkeeping as rooms/table/sofa/ clothes rack etc were dusty when checked in that we have to clean up the place ourselves before sitting or using it. Air con not cool at all & ceiling fan no wind at all even at highest speed (only fan blade turning). 1 of the room ceiling fan not working at all. Wash basin stained, many lights not working (got to call housekeeper late...

"Friendly staffs, if you like jungle/forest/tree view, this hotel is for you. They have an infinity pool view that faces a rice field. Free WiFi and breakfast. Since it's a forest looking area, keep in mind, there will be a lot of insects. The room we got have a mosquito net. However, if you look up the net, the net has stains and some holes (which was a bit disturbing). They do provide free bottle of water for each night stay. "

"Villa Tupai has beautiful gardens and lovely traditional timber buildings, but is let down by the staff and details. The staff have a bad habit of lingering around when they are not needed and with a huge area of gardens and living areas, choosing to wait all day until you are in an area to come and clean around you, spoiling the peace and quiet.
