"We got put into a different property than the one in the pictures however it was a lovely spacious place to stay. It had a balcony with a roof so we could sit out even in the rain. It had an inflatable hot tub which was different to the one in the pictures as the one in the pictures was a normal hot tub however this wasn’t an issue. "On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, shown to our lovely Shepherds Hut, it was clean and tidy, nothing was too much trouble for us. The pub was so welcoming, and the food was just amazing, good home cooked food! Overall we had a lovely, peaceful weekend with our collies, lots of walks and fresh air, good food and wonderful accommodation. We would definitely recommend and will most definitely stay there again."

You have a lovely terrace, a garden area with a picnic table and fire pit. With peacocks and alpacas to watch it really is a fantastic rural experience. "Wow wow wow, we absolutely loved this little find, 'The Stable' is a beautiful place to stay, the surroundings are stunning, the accomodation is clean, beautifully furnished, excellently equipped and the host was lovely. The road leading up to the property is a bit of a bumpy one with a few potholes but the hosts prepare you for that in the well informed directions to the property. We will DEFINITELY be returning again next year, just perfect."

"We were made very welcome, with a complimentary glass of sherry on check-in. We had already been able to leave our case securely after arriving some hours before check-in time, and were allowed to do so again after check out while we spent the rest of the day around the town. Having travelled by train, this was extremely helpful. The room was very comfortable - the only tiny niggle being the lack of power sockets next to the bed, meaning we couldn't charge our phones AND have them on our bedside tables overnight. A good breakfast, with friendly service, and for the eco-friendliness touch, all the supplied toiletries were plastic-free, as were the breakfast jams. The area was quiet overnight and extremely well placed for the heart of the town."
