"Best bed for us on this trip. Also only host to provide a shower cap. A room on the other side of the building would have been excellent but unfortunately we were assigned a room next to the Main Street and had a sleepless night due to the traffic noise."

The cottage is incredibly well-stocked with everything you need (we prepared several meals there), so quiet and close to the most beautiful walks in forests and mountains. We feel utterly refreshed and relaxed after our stay and will definitely be back!"

"Room was good but a little noisy in the morning outside.We were also next to a squeaky fire door that was opened regularly early morning and late at night.Parking was good.Area was lovely."

"The whole hotel was generally a bit “tired”. It’s a beautiful building in a lovely location, but needs a refurbishment now. The staff were mainly helpful , breakfast wasn’t the best though . The spa needs some TLC also."

"We used the spa which was lovely, everywhere was clean and tidy could have done with a refresh on the bed head board , staff very good, breakfast a bit disappointing as it was in pots to keep warm , which sort of steamed everything"
