"This worked out great for our family. We spent most of our time in nearby Bishop’s Stortford with family. For rest, morning coffee and winding down in the evening, this place was perfect. It was clean and quiet, the mornings and evenings were cool and calm, very relaxing. The place is a bit remote, but that was easily remedied by the superior taxi service we experienced during our stay. We would strongly consider staying again on future visits and feel comfortable passing along this...

"No TV , no air con , not clean "

"Firstly there was no parking. Its not 'The White House' its no 23 on a very busy noisy road. Single room but so small there was only one way to put the bed. No curtains, no smoke alarm, 3 way plug for tv, (very basic), microwave and fridge (not PAT tested) no local info in the room - dont think i would go there again, sorry "

"Great staff and location. The inn also has a great menu. Taxis and Ubers will get you around too. Great quality hospitality."

"Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "
