"Didn’t have breakfast "

"Travelled with my non verbal autistic child and was put in the closest room to reception, was woken all night long as the room was next to some form of locked door that required a code that didn't seem to be working and kept LOUDLY beeping as other guests were (rightly) angry and very loud as they couldn't get through. The windows, although shut had a draft so bad it was like they were open, to the point that the heater turned off in the night as it stated "open window detected" so we woke up FREEZING. The bathroom was NOT clean and had random hairs everywhere and worst of all, we both woke covered in bites all over our legs. I went to reception twice and both times noon was there."

"Lift was unresponsive and untrustworthy. Rooms small and very dated. Shower was cramped and grim, we did not feel comfortable using it. Fine for a stop off when travelling from Stansted but don’t expect much."

"Room could have done with a light touch up in places, mainly the bathroom Room amenities and bed were fine. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful."

"Clean room with all amenities working. Friendly check in staff. Breakfast was included and ticked all the boxes, it even had a nice touch of offering a hurry bag for your pastries. The down side was the £4 shuttle charge each way. I would have been nice to know this before booking. "

"The surroundings are beautiful. There are a few areas that need a little TLC including in the room I stayed in. I will say my room was immaculately clean with fresh linen and towels. Rose on reception was brilliant, instead of pointing me to my room she took the time to show me the way. The food in restaurant is excellent, 10/10 to the chefs. There are symbols next to food items on menu which I didn't know meaning of, maybe a key chart would be beneficial. Kayla behind the bar was attentive and professional, as were all members of staff I met. Definitely would recommend."

"I honestly don’t expect to pay extra for parking there! Also I didn’t ask for breakfast but it was added as an extra to my account without asking me."

"Mixed feelings. The room itself was fine, the experience not so great. I had chosen this hotel in part because it was a good location and had an EV charger. The EV charger was not working and the experience in reporting and trying to get resolved was infuriating. I had to go elsewhere and charge. The EV alone I probably would have overlooked, particularly as it involved a third party. However, upon check out the hotel attempted to charge me for a dinner that I hadn’t ordered or had! Ironically I had eaten elsewhere whilst waiting for my car to charge. Again, mistakes can happen, but the receptionist was at first insistent that as that’s what her computer said, I had to pay it! Eventually sorted, but took way too long, making me late for an meeting, and did not appreciate the accusatory manner. So an okay stay bookended by two poor and frustrating experiences."
