My only fault was that I cannot understand how a big hotel like the Holiday Inn does not even have a mini fridge so that I could have kept my water that I've purchased cool. Other than that staff were very helpful and also polite .

The property was conveniently located near a bus stop right outside the back of the property and a large Walmart-like store called Sainsbury’s was also right outside the back door. The hotel itself was clean, but the breakfast dishes and silverware had food stuck on them and each piece had to be cleaned by hand before using them. The view out our window was of a garbage pile with a toilet that was taken out of one of the rooms, and the shower pooled at the bottom of the shower and didn’t drain properly so you were standing in 2 to 3 inches of water to shower. Also, we left a little later one day and the lady came to service our room and said she’d be back in an hour since we weren’t ready, and she never returned to clean the room so when we returned to our room, it was still dirty, and all of our towels and washcloths (flannels) were still on the floor unchanged. The front desk staff was very helpful and even allowed me to use a personal cell phone in order to call our Rental Car agency to let them know we’d be late and the breakfast tasted good and had a nice variety of hot and cold dishes.

Staff really friendly and inviting, room was clean but it was cold and noisy from the traffic on the dual carriageway, however it wasn't off putting. Good choice of food for breakfast, hash browns undercooked to my preference however i did not go hungry as there was enough food and options to choose from. Would stay here again.

The staff was so kind and helpful. For example, I’m American, so I didn’t understand why the switches weren’t working, so they explained the little card slot to me. They were also super kind and made me a pizza even though the kitchen was closed for dinner, since I got lost trying getting back in time. The breakfast was pretty good (i miss my pancakes lol), the room was clean, and it was very close by to a couple bus stations so not too far a walk. With the grocery store right behind it was easy to get anything I needed that I had forgotten. :)<3
