"Beautiful hotel near the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you plan to stay here, you will need to be comfortable with the peacock noises in the early morning and sometimes during the night. It didn’t bother me at all since I had a white noise machine, but I did hear another guest complain about it. Overall, a beautiful place and I would stay here again. "

"This is one of the most beautiful hotels ever have stayed in. The decor is stunning and they even play live piano and violin at breakfast. The breakfast is also amazing and buffet style. The garden is beautiful and very relaxing The spa with jacuzzi is a bonus. I've noticed some lower score reviews for the hotel where people had stayed in the lower floor basement rooms. We had one of these at first then they upgraded us free of charge without asking. I think people should be aware that you get what you pay for. That said there is a lovely fountain and mini garden outside the lower rooms and they still have a lot of character and style. The area is also fantastic. A short walk to the most upmarket areas and also the social bits but in a quiet back street avoiding noise. Will return for sure. "
