"We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed a safe and friendly atmosphere with helpful and courteous service. The breakfasts were freshly cooked with generous portions. We tried nearly all the non-meat dishes on the evening menu and would recommend the sea-bass and salmon nicoise."

"Great Hotel, warm friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Restaurant has nice views over Brayford pool and Lincoln centre up to the cathedral. Good location amongst bars and restaurants. Couple of small things to be improved upon, the speakers in the restaurant need a good clean as spiders webs visible. The eggs at breakfast had been cooked fresh but left under a heat lamp so gone hard unfortunately. Overall a very comfortable night and I will be definitely staying again. "

"A comfortable well-appointed and thoughtfully decorated little cottage in lovely surroundings. Our hosts were very helpful and interesting to talk to, as were the myriad hens and mini flock of sheep. Lots of interesting places to see locally. Well worth returning to."
