"THE GORGEOUS VIEW!!! This was my husband’s and my first visit to Wengen, Switzerland and WOW! It truly is a breathtaking place with views all around. The room accommodations were fantastic, the breakfast buffet delicious, and the staff professional and friendly. We visited in May and had snow one morning and bluebird skies for hiking that same afternoon. Truly a magical place. Thank you for a wonderful 25th Anniversary trip!"

"Comfortable clean room overlooking the valley with a nice balcony. Unfortunately this was not usable one day because it was too cold and the other because of dense smoke from a fire pit in the spa area below. Breakfast was good but eggs to order cost extr- not the local standard. "

"Lovely hotel. We had a stunning room, large and looking onto the little square, 5 minutes from the Walliser Alpentherme baths. We loved the traditional decor of this 18th century hotel. The breakfast was a bit disappointing: too many people queuing in front of one coffee machine taking forever to make an espresso, or for a fresh squeezed orange juice from a machine that kept on jamming. Self Check-in and checkout was also on the negative side: nothing like feeling welcome on arrival. As the self-checkin didn’t work, we had to deal with the lovely staff anyway. "

"We stayed 3 nights 4-7th May. Loved the hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony with the most amazing views which really made our stay very special. First visit to Switzerland but not the last! Breakfast was very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The sauna and steam room at the end of the day was lovely. Bath and shower great. Hotel needs freshening up a little but we loved it anyway and the location is fantastic. You just walk from the hotel down to the train station. The walk from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen was fabulous.Hope to return again. "
