"This by far was my favorite placed we stayed in Switzerland. Kandersteg is a gorgeous town and the hotel was so cute. We had the best view from our room. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of options. I cannot say enough positive things about this location. Absolutely loved it!"

"What a gem of a hotel! A real find in Leukerbad. Thereâs a drop off spot at the hotel for check Iâm and out; otherwise, park at the Rathaus (or other paid parking).
Lovely wee place with nice staff. The restaurant is good and the breakfast worthwhile (although Iâll be honest, the coffee is subpar).
Perfect location for enjoying the town.
Bathrobes are available for 5chf deposit at the front desk. Enjoy their sauna and pool! "
"Very much a vintage hotel experience. I had an excellent mountain view, which I was able to enjoy from bed every morning. The cleaning crew were efficient and very good. The staff was very helpful with planning alternative hikes. I chose to walk the 800m from the train station, which for me was very doable. However, I am very fit and this may not be an option for everyone. The breakfast buffet was very good. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, Nico's, which was excellent. It was my best dining experience in Kandersteg and during my stay in Switzerland. The spa was small, but clean and very relaxing. I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely re-visit if I come back to Switzerland. "
"Historic wooden hotel that's on UNESCO list. I loved seeing how people lived, even though it meant going to third floor on an old wooden staircase. The rooms are so interesting, with a side room with a third bed reachable by a secret staircase. The food cooked at the restaurant was so good, traditional Swiss food. Very friendly staff, dressed in traditional folklore dresses."

"Chalet Rana was absolutely perfect for our visit. We stayed along with our 3 adult kids. Home was spotless and stocked with lots of amenities. The views from the deck were spectacular-especially for this Chicago family. Sabine was an amazing host. She met us at the home and walked us through, taking time to show us how everything operated including the all important coffee maker and dishwasher. Sabine also unbelievably baked us a cake for my sonâs birthday when she discovered that the local store could not make a nut-free version. While weather was not particularly cooperative, we went on several hikes that start right from the Chalet. What a memorable visit! Highly recommended. Be SURE to plan a dinner the Berghaus"
