Took a minute to figure out streaming TV and no local channels could be found but we are a little technology challenged. We loved the space!!!"

"Great communication about property and surrounding area. Well equipped kitchen but microwave on top of refrigerator, very high. Great fire ring outside and close walk to lake. Nice shower upstairs but also need shower downstairs as tub inaccessible for most seniors. Windows everywhere so felt we were living in the woods."

The house was well kept and had plenty of the little things that make a stay easy (fully furnished kitchen, coffee, plenty of paper products, kayaks, firewood, etc). It’s those little touches that make a trip extra relaxing. The property is in a great neighborhood that is extremely quiet. The communication during the stay was amazing as well. It’s always great to be checked in on during the stay incase something comes up....

"My wife and I just spent 5 days at Red Timbers. It was one of the nicest homes we've stayed in and excellently appointed and stocked. The location is 10 minutes from Traverse City but overall the location is perfect to explore all of Leelanau County; Suttons Bay, Leland, Glenn Arbor, Sleeping Bear sand dunes, and the Pearce Stocking drive. "This house was perfect for our annual family girls trip. Great location to Downtown Traverse City and all the winery's up the Leelanau Peninsula. The views were amazing! everything was just as pictured! The owners have definitely put a lot of work into this house. They were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had."

We were able to explore both sides of the Leelanau Pennisula and still play 9 holes of golf in Northport during the day before returning to a pleasant evening on the nicely lit and roomy outside deck in the evening. A short drive allowed us to enjoy visiting 5 of the 11 fine wineries on Mission Pennisula followed by dinner in Traverse City that evening.
