"We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group...

"Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...

"Our stay was flawless, conveniently located in the heart of the countryside. The facilities were great and the listing doesn’t do it justice, all of us who stayed had nothing but positive things to say about the accommodation which was thoughtfully decorated throughout. It was a shame the weather wasn’t on our side the whole time so we could make use of the great outdoor space however we were so lucky with the inside space that it didn’t affect the weekend. Would happily recommend to friends...

"We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. We are a 3 generation family and this worked well for everyone. Plenty of communal space to spread out into, good central heating and a beautifully kept garden. "We needed a base in this area for family reasons and the position and configuration of the accommodation suited us perfectly. The yard setting may not be to everyone's taste but it brought clear memories of my childhood farmyard! My husband (in his eighties) found walking on the cobbles a bit difficult. "This spacious converted barn was perfect for our stay. Larger than it looks in the photos. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The hosts provided tea, milk and coffee supplies upon approval which was appreciated before going to a bigger shop at the nearby grocery store. There was also salt and pepper. Plenty of soap and detergent too. The location is in a peaceful setting with lovely views. In additional to the large tv in the living room which includes a dvd...

"The property is spacious and very bright. The kitchen is well equipped, large and very functional. The two living rooms are very comfortable with one having access to a patio with lovely views and the other with a cosy fireplace. The bedrooms are very comfortable and again very bright with views across the countryside and garden. The garden is absolutely lovely with the ponds and stream running through the it. We saw lots of wildlife in the garden such as rabbits, deer, buzzards, coots, ducks,...

"This was such a great place to stay. Its a lovely house with a super cozy living room, incredible wood burner and what would be a glorious garden in the summer. "Overall a good experience. Great, quiet location and very generously sized property. Very well equipped and even has a proper freezer. Owner was very friendly and helpful, and greeted us in person upon arrival. Milk and biscuits had kindly been left out for us too. The only thing that brought the experience down for us was the level of cleanliness. The property has probably not had a deep clean in a while (only basic cleans) and it showed. Other than that a great stay :-)"
