I often book the Pepper Tree when I ski at Palisades. It is clean and conveniently located. Walls are a little thin, so sometimes you can hear your neighbor if they are being loud, but generally most people are just there to sleep :)

Staff was extremely helpful and kind and made it easy for me to reserve & pay for them for the holidays!! Started snowing on 24th Dec and made for a beautiful Holiday together! The room was ok. I spent new years there maybe thatā€™s why cleaning assistance wasnā€™t available but besides that we had a great time. Front desk guy was really nice. Restaurants are close by, coffee place and snowboard shop across the street. You get what you pay for.

It was an average stay. The bed was a little hard. It was difficult to go down to the office since it seemed to always be closed. The staff was friendly on check in but we didn't really see them again. We could have texted the staff with questions and requests but never did. The town is very cute with good dining options and was very walkable from the inn.

Front desk lady was lovely. Parking is a challenge (especially for high profile vehicles). There is a small underground parking garage but most people park in the spaces at street level. She was active in helping people get parked safely. We have stayed here a few times. Rooms are clean. Elevator is sketchy (makes lots of noise and permit expired in 2023). Exterior stairs also sketchy as concrete is crumbling on some of the stairs. Easy enough to skip a stair or two. There was a sign by the stairs indicating a safety concern and direction to use the elevator. After seeing the expired permit in the elevator I took my chances on the stairs. The upper rooms do have lake view. While it sounds unsafe, Iā€™m still giving 4 stars: clean rooms, inexpensive and I spend my days in Tahoe taking my chances on my snowboard; I think I can navigate the stairs. šŸ˜‰
