It’s a pretty bare bones facility but the price was right. No early check in when we arrived, and no one there when we checked out. The room Was clean, the internet was good, there was a fridge and microwave. The beach is close and free.

I must have been placed in one of the worst rooms they have on site. The bedding and towels were clean, those are the pros. The cons were no screen on window facing the parking so anyone can just climb into the room including mosquitos/flies, carpet hasn't been replaced in 20 years or more, cockroaches inside the room, it was depressing but I'm low income and could not afford anything better. At least it wasn't a motel full of sketchy people, others were also travelers.

Hotel is old and not at all updated. One of our laps flickered when turned on. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but their was no one in reception when we arrived at 5:30pm. Their were several printed signs on the glass one that said no check in until 4:30pm. We did call the number and got an answer right away and the woman directed me to a lock box that wasn't actually locked and that had 2 sets of keys in it. I was given my room number and told to leave the other keys in the same box. We never saw anyone in reception or even that it was open for people to go in and check. The room is super our dated. The bathroom felt like a prison box but for the price with the easy short drive to the lake and other tourist places it was fine for the one night

The room was clean, the A/C worked without any issues, and parking was great because there were always spaces available. The staff can be a little tricky to rate because they are not always on site, but given that this is more of an economy stay, that was understandable. Overall, Hotel Elevation is a practical place to stay if you are trying to avoid the crazy hotel prices in Tahoe, especially during a busy weekend like July 4th. It is also very convenient that there is a breakfast spot right next door. That said, the bathroom could use some maintenance and deeper cleaning, especially around the tub area, where there were some stains that should be addressed. In short, this is not a honeymoon-style hotel, but it does the job. If you want something affordable, convenient, and simple, it is a solid option.

Our room was very clean. The furniture and linens excellent. The hotel location is a short walk to Lake Tahoe beach. The staff was very helpful. The parking is ample, but very tight small spaces. The room maintenance needs to be improved. Only one out of the 3 lamps in the room worked. There was no Kleenex in the bathroom. I would stay there again.
