Royal Ladysmith
My kids loved it. Seeing the main road from the balcony. The staff are all so friendly and always willing to go out of their way to make us comfortable

My stay in Ladysmith Royal Hotel
My stay at the Royal hotel was so amazing, the rooms and the bed linen was so perfect. The breakfast was delicious, but I have a suggestion to make about the fridge in the room, they must put fridges in the rooms and include the payment in the room's fees. Regards Janet

Great place to stay
The owners were very nice. It is a lovely period hotel with amazing features. The pictures and write ups on the walls were fantastic. It is a lovely place to stay. Food was nothing short of excellent.

False Features Described
Stayed one night from 22-23 May 2018. Arrived at 18h51 and was told they only offer 15 hours a day room service, which was not specified on the limited hours when I booked. Indicated "premium bedding" on description of the room, however the bedding fabric is very old and not modern or soft or premium at all. Description indicated "Satellite TV Channels" in the room, however only 12 channels to view and no satellite channels as described, only channels were SABC 1/SABC 2 / SABC 3 / E-tv / and the rest were news channels - no movie channels whatsoever and no "satellite" channels as indicated with the description. Would not recommend as features are falsely described.

We treat every complaint with the highest regard, as we strive to maintain our motto of being the 'leaders in friendliness and service' We do have satellite TV, 2 movie channels, a kids channel, a sports channel, BBC news, SABC news, SABC 1,2,3 and E, and ETV plus. I am sorry that you thought the bedding to be old and not modern. We are an Historic Hotel so our decor will never be modern. Our linen is soft, and not old. I have changed the linen description on the website that you used. Our room service is advertised as limited hours. Thank you once again for your constructive criticism, and am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We hope that if ever you visit Ladysmith again, you will stay with us.
