This is a lovely boutique hotel with some of the typical quirks that come with this type of property. First the quirks: Parking is generally street parking but they have offsite parking without in and out privileges. There’s no bar in the garden, which while not necessary seems a bit of a miss in such beautiful surroundings. There is some maintenance starting to be needed with doors on cupboards a little loose.
As for everything else: The property is beautifully designed and the garden is a...

Located right next to the beach. The rooms were comfortable, despite being a bit tight to have two suitcases open. Everything was clean and staff were very helpful and accommodating. There were great eats located within walking distance, and it was super helpful having parking available onsite. San Diego Zoo was about 15 mins drive and Legoland 10 mins from the hotel.

Wonderful experience! We joke that everything is perfect at the Lodge at Torrey Pines "bubble". The outside world is far away. I especially love the hot tub, you can see the ocean from it!

Traveled from New Zealand. Fantastic location! We loved the 70’s Beach Vibe of the place and surroundings. We were on the second floor and the view of the ocean/surfers/dolphins was perfect. The Apartment was bigger than the photos suggested.
Will be staying again and recommending to our friends.

This was such a beautiful place...... So close to the beach you can hear the waves breaking on the shore. I'd spent the last 5 weeks travelling around the US from New York on the East Coast and right down the West Coast and by far this was the best place I stayed. The apartments were amazing - just like a little boutique house with kitchen / dining area, lounge, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The apartment was decorated beautifully in a coastal relaxed vibe. The breakfast was Delish and the staff...

Only stayed one night, would have liked to have stayed more. It’s such a stunning area. Staff member gave us a room upgrade and great recommendation for dinner, the Promiscuous Fork which was about a 3 min walk.
Family enjoyed the hot tub and the included breakfast was good. Easy parking as well.
