Both have been brought right up to date whilst preserving the character that has made them top attractions for nearly 90 years.
For some serious thrills and spills, try the Beach Blaster, a ride that will swing you over 18 metres in the air through 120 degrees in both directions, or the Vertical Plunge which lifts you up three storeys high before dropping you back down to earth.
Test your skills in some of the newest attractions in the park. The Wave House has two surf machines, the FlowRider® and the FlowBarrel® that will challenge you to stay standing up. Particularly suited to groups and families with teenagers, RUSH Laser Tag calls for all your stealth and precision as you battle the opposing team in this 278-square-metre darkened maze.
Of course, Belmont Park does not overlook the many time-honoured funfair attractions. Go crazy on the Speedway Bumper Cars, or take a soothing ride on the nostalgic Liberty Carousel. Head to RUSH Arcade or Midway Games for an endless choice of absorbing amusements typical of a seaside resort.
Belmont Park charges no admission fee, parking is free and the food is very reasonably priced – perfect for an inexpensive family day out at the beach. Individual tickets are available to cash in at the rides, or you can purchase unlimited one day ride passes.
