"Hotel itself is beautiful. Staff is super friendly and accommodating from the check in to valet parking to bell hops. All Very friendly and helpful With such great attitudes which isn’t always the case at many hotels. So 5 stars for all the staff. The only issue I ran into was upon arrival my hot water didn’t work in my room and I stepped on a nail that was sticking out on a worn part of the carpet in the room. However maintenance and medical attention was sent right away and we were quickly moved to another room. I was super grateful to all the staff who help make me love my stay and looking forward to returning soon"

"I loved the location to the events I was attending. The hotel was clean, however, the outlets were all stripped and not working. In todays world you need working charging outlets. The hotel needs to update their power outlets in their rooms. Also, our AC did not work and needed a maintenance worker to come reset. Still turned off, luckily we were facing the harbor and on the 4th floor and was able to get some harbor breeze. Other than that. I loved the experience. Oh, just another inconvenience. I prefer a small microwave in a room but no microwave, that is individual preference though. It would have been nice."

"It is overall a decent Hotel. But, it needs a few upgrades to become excellent. The room service is every other day which isn't ideal. Also, the TV, while being very large, is not smart. You cannot watch your shows on Netflex, HBO, etc. You may want to bring an HDMI cable to connect your laptop to. The cleanliness was Ok. We only saw a stein on one of the towels during our four night stay. Probably the biggest advantage is the location. It is very close to most San Diego attractions including little Italy, Bolboa Park, downtown, water front, etc. withing 10-30 mins walk. Also, the bay view is quite nice if you are on one of the top floors."
