"It is an older property very well maintained and clean. The food in the restaurant is very good and the staff is very nice. When choosing a hotel, the pool is very important and a must, it is sad to have to pay to use the pool when that is a big part of the reason you chose the hotel. Also had to pay to park my car. What is one supposed to do with the car. The stay was expensive enough, those charges at the end of my stay made it very upsetting. Unfortunately, because of this, I would not return"

"The Monastere is a converted former convent. The rooms are in two wings built in the 1600s. They are small and minimally furnished. The bathrooms are shared in the hall. Though there is a floor with more modern rooms with private baths. The breakfast was good, though taken in silence. The location in the historic center was excellent. The Monastere is a good place to sleep, surrounded by lots of history. But the quiet and the small rooms are not for everyone. "
