Hotel is in a convenient location, walkable to the markets, subway and dining options. Hotel room was very clean and modern. No complaints, we enjoyed our stay here.

Great location 10mins walk from Nishiki Market and lots of shops nearby. Room was great, nice and clean. There’s a communal dining room and kitchen upstairs, we used it to give the kids breakfast from the local convenience store, and to have an Uber Eats dinner one night when it was pouring rain.

We stayed in a Moderate Large room. Pros: - location was fantastic. The area around the hotel had many interesting shops, restaurants and close to an grocery store. The walk to the subway station was under 10 min. - very quiet - had on-site laundry - the cafe in the hotel made delicious beverages Cons: - no view and the room was very dark. - no wall hooks anywhere, so couldn't hang up towels. The hotel did provide new towels daily upon request. Hangers were plentiful so hanging up coats was fine. - parts of the white walls in the bathroom were stained - room felt very small - the garbage bin in the bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen.

Beautiful, simple, well designed hotel. Comfortable beds, large windows, cool traditional Japanese bathroom, lovely pyjamas. Disappointing encounter in coffee shop. It appears on website and with hotel layout to be part of hotel but it isn’t. The waitress demanded that I buy a drink when joining my husband as he finished his. We left rapidly and felt disinclined to return there for breakfast or any meals.

Absolutely brilliant! Quirky area, industrial feel
A really lovely hotel, everything about it was wonderful. The staff were discreet but helpful, the room was a good size and quiet, and the common room space and kitchen was much appreciated. Everything just felt great. And the location is brilliant too, surrounded by lots of quirky and interesting shops and restaurants, a short walk from the busy food market and close to the metro. We got to know the area really well over a few days and it felt very safe and calm. The only very minor comment is that there are limited laundry facilities which were always in use.

We stayed here for 6 nights with our 2 kids. Lovely little hotel. Room was great. Location was good too. Hotel staff lovely but English was limited. Breakfast option was yummy but limited. Bar attached to hotel was non existent. Offering one wine and gin and tonic was out of stock for the week we stayed. As far as rooms go, it was very comfortable apart from the pillow.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood within minutes walk to Nishiki market. Staff are as friendly as you can expect. There are some Japanese style rooms which add some exotic feeling, and breakfast was tasty! Overall hotel is well maintained and clean. Rooms are smaller compared to US but in par with local standard. The only call out is they don’t have much storage space in room for luggages but other than that we enjoyed our stay a lot.

This is a great property for families. We booked a superior quadruple room and it was spacious enough for us and the two kiddos. (4 people.) The room was minimalistic modern and nothing to write home about, but the beds are comfy and clean. Staff is very friendly and they have a nice breakfast with good coffee. The neighborhood is filled with local shops, cafes, and oddly lots of local restaurants serving non-Japanese cuisine. Italian seems to be plentiful here. If you are looking for Japanese food, no worries, just walk a block or two further east or south and you will be on the main tourist areas and Nishiki market. The location is also located in the center of 4 smaller subway stations. This was important to us as we did not want to walk through a large station with kids in tow. The Hankyu subway provides the easiest route to Osaka and Kobe, but not the fastest. The Keihan subway has a direct train to Nara.

Nice location with access to multiple modes of transportation, shops, and restaurants. Very large, comfortable bed. Helpful and pleasant staff.
