"Looved our stay! This hotel is honestly best of both worlds, property is very peaceful and beautiful, with rooms that match the aesthetic and made it honestly our favorite stay during our Japan trip. The hotel is next to a grocery store for all the easy convenience items and across the street from a Konbini. as well as a 2-3 minute walk from a metro station. We unfortunately didn't get to try the onsen but we did see lots of people down there, and the free amenities at our disposal (hot chocolate, ice cream, tea, sodas, etc) were all a very welcome treat after a long day out and about! My *only* comment would be that our room didn't have any views since we were facing the side of the building, in fact there was a structure just outside the window and behind that was the next building. That being said we didn't spend much time there during the day so didn't make much of a difference to us. If views are something that matter to you make sure you get a front facing room! Would definitely stay again!"
"The location is very convenient, just across the road and opposite to the JR train station. It is easy to take city buses when travelling to and from a range of attractions and sites or do day trips to nearby cities. The room has a reasonable size. Very happy about my stay there"
"Located only a couple of blocks from the main train station, this hotel was a great pick. Incredibly clean as you must take your shoes off at the entrance and roll your luggage through water before entering the lobby, and your room. The variety of hot springs baths you can choose from and the extras, such as evening noodles, ice creams and massage chairs make this a great place for families to stay. There are a number of reasonably priced restaurants nearby along with a token Don Quijote just down the street. Also on the same road as public buses 205 and 206 which take you to the tourist attractions such as the golden Pavillon. "
"Very clean and comfortable. Fun events, abundant and unlimited access to bathroom products, hygiene products, tea, coffee, etc. check-in, luggage services, and check-out was painless. Excellent service. No language i"
"Amazing place to stay while we are in Japan! Location is great, right next to JR line station. Hotel room is clean and spacious. Definitely recommended! "
"This property was clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly. The location is near Kyoto station, less than half a mile away, approximately a 10 min walk. There is a bus station right outside of the hotel that can get you around to many of the places that you will want to visit but you do need to transfer for some. We prefer to just walk to Kyoto station and get to the correct train/subway, etc. At the hotel, there are many things that only have Japanese instructions. In order for you to use them go on the television and get the instruction in English. If you still not too sure, you can ask the friendly staff. Overall, good experience and I will rebook this place or their sister hotels when I'm back and to Japan."
"Great location inside Kyoto Station makes this fantastic for tourists. Friendly staff. Complimentary English language newspaper delivered to your room each morning. What’s not to like "
