"Great location, great, friendly staff. I'm a picky eater so the breakfast wasn't for me, but for almost everyone else, it should be great. I'd definitely stay here again."

"The area was very convienient, and the room was cleaned every day. Sunshine City was very nice, the Family Mart downstairs was great for late night snacks and there were nice places to eat close by. Checking in and out was very easy and the hotel laundry room was easy to use. Definitely recommend!!"
"The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is amazing. It’s just steps away from Ikebukero Station West entrance. This was our third time staying at the Metropolitan Hotel Ikebukero and we will stay there again when we return to Tokyo in the fall of 2026. "
"The location was great, everything was near and walkable. Ueno station is close, making getting anywhere that much easier. No shortage for restaurants and shopping. The hotel was beautiful, the room for 3 people was spacious for a tokyo hotel."
"Each room has its own washing machine, which is very convenient. Since winters in Japan are dry, hanging clothes to air-dry instead of using the dryer helps keep the room humid. The only slight inconvenience was that there wasn’t enough space to open a large suitcase fully."
