Like probably most Japanese hotels, Dormy Inn Koraluen was efficient, with a kiosk for checking in. This hotel was nicely situated in the middle of the city, with the Kasuga station just outside. The breakfast (y2000) was excellent, a full Japanese breakfast. The late night free ramen was awesome, and the onsen was clean sand nice. Overall, an excellent hotel for a tourist in the city

Location is good if you want to be close to Ikebukuro, Tokyo Dome and Yanaka Ginza. Also fairly convenient to take skyliner from to NRT. Basement sento is great. Wish the women's side also has a cold plunge though. The men have one. Why do they assume women don't want to cold plunge after a hot soak? Walls are thin, floors are thin. You can hear all the bumps and footsteps. Not the cleanest room we've stayed in Tokyo. I do feel lately, Japanese hotel rooms have gotten a bit dirtier than what we're used to, eg. Dust bunnies under beds, stains and sticky spots on surfaces, moldy caulking in bathrooms.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Dormy Inn Korakuen and look forward to staying here again! The room was clean, staff was very polite and helpful, onsen was relaxing, and breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. There were plenty of washer and dryers to use for laundry and having the manga room to wait in was a nice touch. Free late night ramen and popsicles were also fun.

The room is of a good size with an inner door which separates the room from the toilets and sink, which is great. The onsen is gorgeous, large and very clean, there is also a sauna. The breakfast was also very good with lot of varieties.

Clean room and onsen. The location was nice and quiet. Good breakfast options. Also walking distance to a donki that's not extremely busy with tourists like the one in shibuya. The only caveat for me was they don't offer luggage delivery to my next destination but staff did instruct me to use the Lawson right next to the hotel to mail my luggage.

The Sauna and 3 Onsens are very good. The Capsule stay was quite. Free Coffee and an evening Remen are provided. Close to the subway station. Lawson convince store and budget restaurant are within walking distance. I recommend the stay.

It was a wonderful time, the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. Asking for help from the front counter was easy and the Hot Spring was a wonderful way to relax after a long day of being outside

That was my first time staying at Dormy Inn, but I already felt at home. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast here is sooo delicious, and of course, the hot spring is a must-try! We will definitely come back again next time! Thank you, Dormy Inn!

Walking distance to several train stations, Tokyo Dome and restaurants. Onsen was fabulous. The staff was extremely helpful. We wanted our luggage transferred to our next hotel and the staff directed us to the Family Mart accross the street. However, the transfer form was in Japanese so the staff filled it out for us. Great service! Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Overall we had a good stay. My qualms were 1. the lobby was on the second floor and we called the hotel and got really confused by the front desk person who answered and 2. there is a men’s/women’s hostel type situation on the 2nd floor and you can only go up to the main room levels with your key card and I’m pretty sure a man who was staying in the hostels followed me up to floor 9. I felt completely comfortable barre that interaction. The breakfast was great. There was a little lounge area with tons of comic books, massage chair, vending machine, microwave, and restrooms, as well as laundry services and onsen spa. We also indulged in the free yogurt drink and ice pops daily. Location was very close to a lot of main subway stations.

Stayed here 5 nights. The onsen was great and the free midnight ramen was a nice touch — definitely the highlights. The room was quite small, which is expected in Tokyo, but not being able to open a window made it feel stuffy and uncomfortable at times. Breakfast was not worth the 2,000 yen per person, which is why I cancelled it after the first day. Also worth noting for international travelers — if you make changes to your booking, currency exchange differences on refunds and recharges will leave you paying more overall, which was frustrating. After I cancelled my breakfast, I ended up paying much more than if I haven't made any changes. The staff does not speak English but they are polite and use a portable translator, so you can get by. Overall, decent stay for the amenities, but a few things would make me think twice before booking again.

Free ramen between 9:30PM to 11:00PM is tasty, free ice cream is nice. Rooms are clean. There is free washing machines and it costs 100¥ per 30 minutes to dry your clothes. They tell you to leave garbage and dirty towels outside in the morning since there is no daily cleaning. But they don’t give extra garbage bags to use which is odd. They will give new towels outside your room daily. Subway train is literally outside of the hotel which is convenient.
